Preferred
companies across Northern Ohio have been carefully selected by NOACC to provide benefits
and services to their members since 1995. If your company would like to provide a
benefit or service to the members of NOACC, contact the Benefits Task Force.
Below you will find summaries of the guidelines
required to become a benefit vendor for NOACC, as well as an outline of the Benefits Task
Force Proposal Procedures.
Prospective Vendor Proposal
Guidelines
1.) Enclose a copy of your company's
mission statement.
2.) Describe the product or service
offered.
3.) Describe the value of the product or
service relative to competitive offerings in the marketplace, including any other
association offerings from your firm.
4.) Describe the added value available
to members of NOACC Chambers.

What is substantial and unique about this benefit?
5.) Describe projected residual income
(if applicable) for the chambers whose members subscribe to your NOACC benefits; describe
projected residual income to NOACC.
6.) Describe your expectations of NOACC
and NOACC chambers in helping you market your products or services. Include
your sales projections.
7.) Describe what your organization will
do to proactively market your plan.
8.) List your key contacts, their
qualifications and length of service with your firm.
9.) Give some indication of the
stability of your organization.

10.) Describe your reporting capability.
Chambers need reports that show all the businesses that have subscribed to your product or
service, arranged by specific chamber membership. Monthly is preferred, quarterly is
critical.
11.) Describe your target market.
12.) How many clients do you currently
serve in Northern Ohio?
13.) Describe your company's ability to
market to more than 100 business communities and 28,000 businesses in Northern Ohio.
14.) Identify your strategy to cover the
entire State of Ohio if NOACC should grow.
15.) When could you have this benefit
fully implemented?
16.) Are you a member of the NOACC
chamber in which you are domiciled? (Required
for vendor approval.)
Benefits Task Force Proposal
Procedure
Step 1: Vendor
submits proposal to NOACC Administrator
Step 2: NOACC
Administrator screens to be be sure the proposal is complete and has merit. If
so he/she forwards it to the Chair, Benefits Task Force.
Step 3: Benefits
Task Force screens:
Situation
1: If "no go" project is tabled indefinitely.
Situation
2: If "go" Chair assigns a subcommittee to study
and
make
recommendations.
Step 4: Subcommittee
Recommendation
Situation 1: If "no go" project is tabled indefinitely.
Situation
2: If "go" submitted with recommendation to approve to
Benefits Task Force.
Step 5: Benefits
Task Force Consideration
Situation 1: If "no go" project is tabled indefinitely.
Situation
2: If approved, Benefits Task Force Chair or designee
submits with recommendation to approve to NOACC
Board.
Step 6: NOACC
Board - possible actions
Situation 1: Approve--Proceed to Step 7

2: Disapprove - Table indefinitely
