Dayle started as a volunteer for the North Ridgeville Chamber of Commerce in the late 1970's. She became the Executive Director in 1985. The Board saw her abilities to network and work with other organizations in the community as a great asset for the chamber. Dayle has also used her communication talents as a free-lance writer to do articles for Garnett Publishing, Northern Ohio Live and West Shore magazines. Her love of collectibles and travelling were probably stimulated by her previous career in retailing as a buyer for a Macy's affiliate (the May Co.) in the 70's.
Besides being a volunteer for the Cleveland Playhouse for 12 years, her work as the Executive Director of the North Ridgeville Visitor's Bureau for First Night North Ridgeville was recognized by the Lorain Area Council of Alchohol and Drug Abuse. She was also named "Lorain County Outstanding Woman" in the mid-90's.
Dayle is the mother of two adult sons, Chris & Scott and is a proud alumni of Ohio State University.
But she truly loves the contributions she has made working with the chamber and knows that her work with NOACC has made an impact. "It's important to be a part of an organization that offers benefits that have improved so many small business' bottom line."
